Why is resin great to use on a patio?

Resin-bound patios are slip-resistant, providing a safer surface, especially when wet. Resin is also seamless, so is perfect for wheelchair users, vision impaired and individuals who need to avoid trip hazards.

Can I have a patio that uses different colours for features and paths?

Different coloured resin can be used to accentuate different sections of the patio. For example you may want to use a different colour to showcase the path. You can even have features using coloured resin.

How long will a resin patio last?

Resin provides a strong, weather-resistant surface, and is able to withstand heavy foot traffic, making them ideal for outdoor areas like patios. Expect your resin patiop to last 15+ years.

Will a resin patio be low maintenance?

Resin is easy to clean and maintain, as it is non-porous and resists staining from liquids, oils, or other substances.

Will a resin patio puddle or have standing water?

Resin-bound patios are porous. They allow water to pass through and be absorbed by the sub-base and sub-soils beneath the resin. So this prevent water entering the storm drains (thus reducing flooding). These surfaces are made by mixing resin with aggregates (such as gravel or stone), creating gaps between the particles that allow water to drain through, reducing the risk of puddles.
